Quick Patch — Easy, Fast, Durable

This eliminates cracks, joints, and weak points that commonly cause water intrusion.

Product Description

Quick Patch is a quick curing, two component, low odor, liquid applied, polyurethane concrete repair material designed to repair concrete and masonry substrates. The new surface will protect concrete from weather, corrosion, erosion, freeze/thaw spalling and chemical attack.

Features

  • Rapid cure allows traffic to resume in minutes
  • Waterproof
  • Excellent abrasion resistance
  • Remains slightly flexible in a wide range of temperatures
  • Low odor
  • Solvent free

Typical Uses

Used as a primer for the following substrates:

  • Pavement divots
  • Replaces missing portions of concrete
  • Filling holes or profiling very rough areas

Packaging

  • 2 Quart Kit (1 Quart can of Side-A and 1 Quart can of Side-B)
  • 2 Gallon Kit (1 Gallon pail of Side-A and 1 Gallon pail of Side-B)
  • 10 Gallon Kit (1 Five gal bucket of Side-A and 1 Five gal bucket of Side-B)

Standard Colors

  • Side-A Yellow
  • Side-B Blue
  • Quick Patch is grey once cured

Mixing

The volume mixing ratio is 1 Part-A Yellow Liquid to 1 part Part-B Blue Liquid.

  1. Side-A and Side-B should be thoroughly mixed individually prior to combining to ensure a homogeneous material.
  2. Quick Patch must always be mixed at a 1:1 ratio. 1-part Side-A is mixed with 1-part Side-B. The combined components should be thoroughly mixed using either a mechanical mixer at slow speed or mixed by hand. Once thoroughly mixed, pour out the mixture without delay.

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of any previous applied products and foreign matter.

Manual Application

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, free of any previous applied products and foreign matter.
  • Recommended surface temperature should be greater than 50°F.
  • Quick Patch is sensitive to heat. Higher temperatures will significantly accelerate the cure time and reduce the pot life. Use caution in batch sizes.
  • Low temperature will extend the cure time.
  • Pour out Quick Patch without delay as it will cure quickly. Apply Quick Patch in 1 pour for best results.
  • Quick Patch does not permanently adhere to previous applications of Quick Patch.

Mechanical Application

Quick Patch can be applied using a proportioning dispensing system. This type transfers, meters, and mixes Side-A and Side-B at the required proportions. The machine transfers from five or fifty-five gallon containers through proportioning pumps at the specified ratio of 1:1. Both components are pumped through a disposable static mixing tube. The combined mixture can then be dispensed.

Cleanup

Equipment should be cleaned with an environmentally safe solvent, as permitted under local regulations, immediately after use.

Storage

Quick Patch has a shelf life of one year.

Limitations

  • Quick Patch does not permanently adhere to previous applications of Quick Patch.
  • Containers that have been opened must be used as soon as possible.
  • Quick Patch is difficult to clean up after it has cured.
  • Mix no more material than can be used within 1 minute. Quick Patch will cure quickly.

Advantages

  • Non-hazardous, non-toxic, solvent free, low VOC, and low odor
  • Resistant to most oils, solvents, caustics & acids
  • May be subjected to extreme cold during shipping, handling & storage without ill effects

Safe & Environmentally Friendly

Concrete repair without hazardous, toxic, smelly chemicals. Minimal downtime, even in busy environments.

Non-Hazardous • Non-Toxic • Solvent Free • Low VOC • Low Odor.

Waterproof Your Basement — Repair today, Use it today.

A complete lineup of high-performance coating and sealing materials designed for professional results.

Permaflex

Permaflex is a one-part, thick liquid rubber coating designed as a high-adhesion primer and topcoat. It applies like paint but cures into a durable, flexible rubber layer that permanently bonds to concrete, wood, steel, masonry, and similar building materials.

Permaflex product

Liquid Rubber Base (LRB)

LRB is a single-component liquid rubber that cures completely throughout its thickness in under 4 hours, forming a solid flexible rubber compound similar in toughness to a truck tire. Ideal for cracks, joints, holes, divots, and damaged concrete areas.

Liquid Rubber Base (LRB)

TAV (Thickening Activator)

TAV is used with LRB to thicken the mix for vertical, angled, or overhead repairs, so it stays in place without sagging.

How To Waterproof a Basement

Step by Step to a Waterproof Basement

The following steps will show you How to Waterproof a Basement with SANI-TRED®. Never worry about a flooded basement again. Follow these steps to ensure a waterproof basement.

Products Needed for a Basement Waterproofing System

  • PermaFlex®
  • LRB (Liquid Rubber Base)
  • TAV (Thickening Activator)

Step 1 – Prepare

"Prepare" the substrate (surface). Make sure it is clean, dry, and free of:

  • Any previously applied products
  • Foreign matter
  • Loose or crumbling material

Step 2 – Prime

"Prime" the substrate (surface): Apply 1 coat of PermaFlex® at approximately 240 sq ft per gallon.

Concrete block surfaces need 2 prime coats of PermaFlex® basement waterproofing products because they are more porous than standard poured concrete.

  • The first coat of PermaFlex® penetrates deep to permanently lock and seal within the pores of the concrete.
  • The second coat begins filling the pores, pock holes, and pin holes near the surface.

PermaFlex® basement waterproofing products permanently adhere to concrete.

Step 3 – Patch

"Patch" and profile any joints, seams, cracks, holes, and rough areas using an LRB/TAV mixture.

  • Mix 2 parts LRB (Liquid Rubber Base) with 1 part TAV (Thickening Activator) to create a thick, caulk-like mixture.
  • Apply a 1" diameter caulk bead of LRB/TAV mixture where the wall meets the floor.
  • Most cracks use a 3/4" diameter caulk bead.
  • Refer to the LRB/TAV “Round Caulk Bead Chart” for guidance.

Step 4 – Topcoat

"Topcoat": Apply 1 coat of PermaFlex® at approximately 240 sq ft per gallon.
